If there is one thing you do this September is get out and vote! On September 26 communities across Newfoundland and Labrador will head to the polls to elect their next municipal government. The St. John’s Board of Trade encourages its members and all eligible employees to get out and vote.

In 2013, 35,689 votes were cast in the City of St. John’s. That is a 50 per cent voter turnout. We can do better than that. To ensure your name is on the voter’s list for St. John’s visit the city’s website.

Here is a list of declared candidates for the City of St. John’s. The deadline for candidacy is Aug. 29. As people come forward we will continue to update.
